Steven has always loved to write. And, at the peak of his career in charge of financial crime prevention in a London-based bank, he seized an opportunity to follow his dream and became an author. His debut novel, Mickey Take: When a debt goes bad..., features an ex-banker who throws in the towel on his "big" City job, but that's where any similarity ends!

2016 saw the release of a prequel to Mickey Take - set to become Book 2 in the Debt Goes Bad series. The novella, Jammed Up, sees a familiar cast test the moral fibre of two new central characters in a story of loyalty, betrayal and injustice.

Alongside writing psychological thrillers, raising beagles, and volunteering for New Ways (www.newways.org.uk), Steven has recently established a new indie publishing imprint, Eden Park Publishing Limited (www.edenparkpublishing.com) which has acquired the rights to publish the entire Debt Goes Bad series. Two further instalments are in production. Kill Joy will tease out the loose threads arising from Jammed Up and the fourth and concluding story, Long Shot, will bring together both storylines in an explosive finale! We hope to announce further news very soon.

Steven recently moved back to the county of his birth, with his wife Helen and beagle sisters Lola & Lucy.
